Previous Eufy devices have constructed an outline of your home utilizing infrared sensors and bumping into objects, but the X8's laser mapping system is much more accurate. It takes less time to build a comprehensive map of your home. It can also store multiple maps. This is great for multi-floored homes.
The X8 is a decent vacuum cleaner for floors with no dust. It is able to easily throw debris under the side brushes and into its 400ml dustbin. The Tyres of the X8, despite their circular shape, are very good at grabbing edges and corners. Our tests showed that it could only remove 90% of the fur on hard floors.
The basic mopping mode utilizes the same water reservoir as the vacuuming mode. This is ideal for spills that are not serious, but you can't control the amount of water it consumes. It's effective in removing hair from pets. It has a higher rate of pick-up than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
Miele's RX2 robotic vacuum is renowned for its quiet, effective appliances. It is a stunning design, superb navigation and a powerful cleaning power. It has some oddities in its operation that keep it from being ranked as the top smart robot vacuum.

This round, budget robot looks like your typical robot but it's a step up in performance and features. Its intelligent mapping system creates 2D and 3D maps of your home and uses them to navigate and avoid obstacles. It's even able to spot common obstacles such as power cords and furniture legs in real time. This combination of sensors with a bump detector and an infrared sensor that keeps the vacuum away from stairs makes it one of our most flexible vacuums.
It was able to walk over thick shag carpets and was not stuck (unlike the RoboVac 11s or Roomba 690-). Its navigation abilities were also impressive. Its composite score for flooring and carpet was higher than the competition, and it was able to pick up 98.5% of dirt and embedded dog hair that we tested in our lab samples.
The controls are more basic than the competition; there's an uniform cleaning button on the top. You can access it via the app or via voice command with Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also set a schedule for weekly or daily cleans, set areas that are not allowed to be cleaned, and check its cleaning history. The Roomba is iRobot's flagship robot vacuum. It's pricey, but it's also the best robot vacuum that you can purchase. Its self-navigation and environmental mapping is something to behold. It has more advanced automation than most of its rivals, for instance the ability to set up virtual boundary markers using its mobile application. It's a powerful robot vacuum, even if its app isn't the most responsive and the 980 spins when rolling over cables.
